Feedback Update: Call Centers Moving to U.S. |

We pass this note along from our Customer Satisfaction Department, which has made a decision to move our customer call center to the U.S. The company received feedback about this (your voices here on the blog were no small part of that) and decided to make a change. These calls will be taken in Metro Detroit and Salt Lake City now. The full dispatch to dealers is attached.

Really glad to see this. Sounds like somebody finally gets it. I have a Ram (Great Truck) and plan to get a Challenger in the next couple of months, good to know I’m dealing with a company that is making an effort to correct something that has been wrong for too long now. Hope others follow.

bought dodge challenger 2008 every time I called it went to india and he said his name was sam jim john keith they could never help thank GOD lets put americans back to work

Great news. it is nice to know Chrysler & Dodge are listening. It will go a long way in getting your customers back and winning some new ones. For my part, after I got my SRT8 6-Speed Challenger in November, I have taken and shown the car at least 10 times at local car shows. The way people gravitate to this car is incredible… everyone that sees it in person says the same thing you guys did it right. Hopefully some of those that see it will be future customers.

Intresting timing.
Must be part of the “strings attached” that came with the Billion dollar bailout/loan from Uncle Sam.
Shame on Chrysler for even outsourcing jobs overseas. Does Chrysler think that the Indians are going to buy their product!!!

I have a new R/T Road and Track coming in tomorrow. Question…the 29r option according to the brochure is rated at 372hp with 398 torque. Is this correct?

Hello all!!!
Thank God!!!! One thing Chrysler should do is ask for volunteers from the blog to answer calls. They are many mopar fans that can give good info to the callers and plus the blogers I have read love the product….
Just a thought, and snowman comment is more then likely right about the jobs coming back to USA to get the loans from the US government.

I frankly regret owning a Honda Element. and to think I gave up my mini-van for it says my judgement isn’t too good. I’ve had two mini-vans, one with 312,000 miles and the original engine with 2 tranny’s and the second with half that. Why did I give up one for the other, because I could get rubber floor mats instead of carpet. Kids, mud, ice cream, dogs all equal crappy looking carpets.
I really do regret it hugely. I will agree I am a fanatic about maintenance. Both mini-vans had their oil changed no less than every 3000 for their lifetimes and I changed the tranny fluid twice a year. The last one taught me to drive it when I used the mpg gadget in the overhead console. It was routine 22 mpg urban to and from work no expressways and 32 mpg on the highway, but I got the best mileage at about 57 mph and most of you haven’t figured out yet that if we leave Orlando together we’ll both get there at the same time (within hours) because I don’t have to stop for gas.
If I can figure out how to dump this Element for a mini-van you had better believe I will. My first Chrysler was a 50′s something stationwagon and when they wouldn’t give me $65 for it in 63 I took it to the landfill, poured a lot of sugar in the tank, and let it run and it did for hours. You just have to change the oil frequently and see to the little inconsequential things that may bug you and it won’t leave you by the side of the road.

When is this happening? I’ve called the 1992 number quite a few times over the past month and I don’t think I’m speaking to anyone in Utah or Michigan- and it’s not like I call at odd hours. Just this afternoon around 2pm est I was talking to someone in India.
