Texans like their trucks…a lot. So much so, in fact, that manufacturers are now creating special Texas-themed production models. PickupTrucks.com decided to let YOU vote on the best, and hand the winning truck a Consumer’s Choice Award.
So who deserves the prize? Should it be Ford’s Texas Edition, Nissan’s Texas Titan, Chevrolet’s Texas Edition…or the state of the art Dodge Ram 1500 Texas Lone Star Edition, with 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8, chromed 4 in dual exhaust, coil spring five-link rear suspension, RamBox™ cargo system, and a crew cab? OK, so we’re a little biased.
Vote now…the polls close October 18th. And you don’t have to be a Texan to vote.

I see the RAM is doing the worst in the poles. Dah…all the competition has chrome wheels and trim and the RAM has dull aluminum wheels and is painted primer gray. Are we just blind? Who was in charge of this fiasco?

You need to have the Lone Star edition on the doors as well and you need chrome wheels and a bright red color like Ford.

I find it odd that the Ford truck is so ugly in person that they have to used some drawing made by their design team. Heck, it worked. They have the most votes.

That is the ugliest angle, paint color, and picture that you could of used for a Dodge truck. If that is the Lone Star version it needs chrome wheels like everyone else has.
