We’re still trying to recover from the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas last week. Our senses are still tingling from the displays of Mopar powerplant engines, HEMI tools, and chats with real live technicians. And don’t forget the parts! Everything you would ever need to make the strongest, fastest, sexiest custom cars imaginable.
The Mopar Display was spectacular. Among the jaw-dropping vehicles on display: an Avenger ready for raceday, a Challenger with an identity crises, street legal racers, and some great Ram trucks (see ‘em on Ram Zone). Here’s a few of our favorites from SEMA 2009.

Street-legal Drag Pak Challenger
This Dodge Challenger 1320 began life as a stock Dodge Challenger. For the street-legal version, the Mopar team went vintage Mopar Muscle in style, high-end tech in performance. The 1320 looks classic in high-impact Acidic Hue (non-metallic yellow) paint accented with matte black graphics. But it’s packing an ultra-modern 556 hp under the hood thanks to the 426 cubic-inch, all-aluminum HEMI v-8.

If only they made a Challenger in sublime. Then Dodge would finally have my money. I guess they really don’t want it. They just like to tease people until they finally decide to go somewhere else.

lol, yes coolmancool, your 1 purchase is going to make/break a car company. You know, there is this thing called a paint and body shop, you might have heard of it….

Erik, your thinking is just like Dodge’s and that is why they filed for bankruptcy. I have already restored many muscle cars in which I had to change the color. I was just hoping that if I am going to shell out an extra $10 grand than the nearest competitor, then I could have it in the color I wanted. Big mistake…Erik you should work for Dodge.
