“We’re going to really listen to our owners and see what we can do to make the last 500 cars as special as possible, as collectible as possible,” Dodge President and CEO Ralph Gilles said after the 2010 Viper ACR broke the lap speed record at Laguna Seca. Not only will that include a special limited edition Laguna Seca “1:33″ edition in the red-on-black reversed color scheme, but also a black-on-black Voodoo special edition (modeled on Ralph Gilles’s personal Viper and based on, he joked, his Haitian heritage.)
And that’s not all for you Viper fans looking for new colors: “We’re also going to bring back snakeskin green — we’ve never done an ACR with snakeskin green,” Gilles said. For much more on the new Vipers, be sure to look for reports from the L.A. Auto Show later this week.

You are on to something Mr. Gilles. This is what made the old muscle cars worth so much. They came in a variety of colors and stripe options to where no car was the same. This is what you are doing with the Viper and this is what you need to do with the Challenger. T/A versions, R/T Classic versions, 1320 versions, SRT8 and 10 versions, and yes even a modified ‘cuda version. How about a sublime and plum crazy version Viper? Yes, Mr. Gilles, you have the power to become a legend.

Plum Crazy purple is my vote for one of the last Viper colors and I’ll be the first in line to buy one! I agree with coolmancool, this is the way to ensure collectibility and provide the owner with a personalized Viper.
