A full line of 2010 Dodge vehicles fills most of the West Hall’s square footage at the LA Auto Show.
Dodge Charger, Challenger, Avenger, Nitro, Grand Caravan, Caliber and Journey models are all here, showcasing their key refinements for 2010. But of course, the Dodge making big news is the Viper SRT, which will have a limited production run of 500 units. One particular limited edition model, the ACR 1:33 — a tribute to the car that set the track record at Laguna Seca last month — will have a run of just 33 cars.
But it’s not all about the record-breaking 2010 Viper. An impressive display of trophies celebrates the racing achievements of Viper over the years, and on the floor you’ll find five Dodge Vipers — including Ralph Gilles’s personal ride, a black-on-black Viper ACR named “Voodoo” (the buzz is that only 10 total will be produced) — seemingly ready to pounce out of the Dodge corral. Beyond the Viper and a hypnotic rotating display of the new Challenger, an enormous flatscreen flashes the features of the Dodge Journey.
Measured by horsepower, sheer floor space, or pure sex appeal, Dodge dominates this year’s LA Auto Show. If you can’t make it there yourself, don’t worry — you can drool over them from the comfort of your own home by clicking through our photo gallery below.

It is about time we saw some pictures of a real yellow Challenger. You need to advertise the Challenger and the sales would go through the roof. Can we see a plum crazy one and how about one in SUBLIME?

That is right Indyrider, flat black T/A hood, T/A side stripes, side exhaust, flat black rear spoiler, and 20″ road or rallye wheels that look deep, not like the ones on the new SE Rallye. Sublime interior accents on the seats would be cool as well or at least T/A embroidered on the seats. The rebirth of the T/A or trans am racer, why not, look at how well those old smokey and the bandit trans am firebirds are selling for. SUBLIME…do it and sell some cars already!

That DY Challenger really rocks! Dodge is slowly coming back. Any merger betwwen two companies takes time. Mark Mallory and the Dodge Team, keep up the good work. I know its been a lot of hard work but your efforts will pay off in the long run. Keep those high impact colors coming and lets see a shaker hood and pistol grip shifter on the Classic sooner than later. More horsepower too.

What changes have they made, Curtis? The “spring edition” yellow has yet to come out. I could have walked to the paint store and back and had yellow cars out of the factory by now. The Dodge team needs to move on and let somebody who can make decisions and hustle run the show. Snails move faster than the Dodge Team.

Checked the inventory locator again this week, 200 mile radius from my location. No plum crazy or yellow coming back in the results. Not sure when they will start appearing. RLD, I’m trying to work with ya, but its a two way street.
If sublime is not an option in 2010, then just let me know. I can move on, and stop posting up here.

In regards to Sublime and other colors, Mark Mallie posted on another thread:
“Indyrider/CMC we appreciate your patience. From your perspective it might seem like an easy change – just add the damn paint! Things are never that easy as you know from your professional life…
We have been managing paint on Challenger adding as many colors as the plant can handle. For 2010 Model Year in addition to the 10 standard paints at the plant and any special paints for Charger Police Cars, we have built B5 Blue, Detonator Yellow, Plum Crazy is just beginning, Hemi Orange is coming back in 1st Quarter 2010, and one more new color to be announced soon. This color is not Sublime. Green is in our future, we are hoping to do something in the 2010 Calendar Year.

Just sold my 08 Hemi Orange Daytona Charger a couple months ago and wish I had not. Been a Dodge nut all my life. Want to get a new Charger RT or SRT but am waiting to see about a Super Bee, Daytona color option and can not find anything on that. Can you tell me what colors and models of the 2010 Chargers you will have?

you need to bring back the aztec bronze, with black stripes and black spoilers, would look real sharp, same with the green, sublime is great, but what about a limited edition ie 400 units of viper green with black stripes etc. kkep em coming dodge !!!

one other comment, growing up the sharpest car in the neighborhood was a plum crazy purple challenger with white interior, dodge has beautiful interiors, but they are all dark, lighten up a little, some whites, maybe two tone tans etc. kkep up the good work !!!!
