In a nutshell: It’s a turn-key, limited-edition Viper aimed specifically at road racers that combines the best performance attributes of the Viper Competition Coupe and the record-breaking Viper . (The SRT team tested it at Laguna Seca raceway for the first time last month, and professional driver Kuno Wittmer was able to run consistent 1:31.00 lap times around the 2.238-mile, 11-turn course — more than 3 seconds faster than the record-breaking Viper !) The car is slated to make its track debut to kick off the new racing series in July 2010.
