Thanks RDL. I felt that was the best car I have ever had. I do have a 2008 challenger but I much preferr the 6spd. But to do one better a 6.4liter engine would icing on the cake. It might take some the sting out of this whole crappy mess. Thanks for any info to help me decide when to order.

A sad day. My 2009 challenger srt8 was stolen last thursday and recovered after it hit 9 other cars. The car was in winter storage and i was told to leave the keys in the locked storage unit in case there was a fire they could move the car. Severe body and interior damage, probable a total loss. The car only had 180 miles on it. The weak link was the storage unit latch not my lock. I wonder if its better to remove the keys and take my chances with a fire?

I will be ordering a new challenger (I do not want the car back as I’m sure the engine was redlined in this 6ssp car) but I would like to get the 6.4liter engine. I’ve tried to find out if it comming soon or reorder the 6.1l if there will be a long wait. Spring is comming fast! Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Dodge, I just got my D.Y. Classic in this week, put it in the garage, waiting for spring . When my 8 year old son saw it his mouth dropped and he said ,WOW Dad that is an awesome hot rod. Pretty cool. That Challenger is smoking hot in Yellow. Thanks again.

Excellent video! I am so glad these great Challengers are being made. For DECADES, almost nothing has really grabbed my attention. But when I saw the first real photos of the new Dodge Challenger, well, I think most of us posting here on RLD know the thrill and excitement we all felt. Great video, great plant at Brampton, great employees (my hat’s off to all of you) and here’s to hoping I can get one each of Plum Crazy, Sublime, and Furious Fuchsia in R/T classic trim someday.
