Whould like to hear from someone from Dodge about my invention that I submited resently. I recevied a phone called 3/12/10 at 6 o’clock pm from the number 248 944 7017 stating it was from dodge. When i greatly try calling the number back at 6:07PM the recorder stated this isn’t a working number at dodge! How may I get some help on this matter?

Hmmm, letter tires, now that would be cool. Big fan of the Rallye wheels as well.

The stripes options are cool, as they do offer a level of customizing, and don’t cost much to offer. Hope Dodge keeps them coming.

How about the Petty Blue Challenger? The Petty garage model at Barrett was nice…..

I see what your saying I guess I now want to see a new Challenger with 15 Rallye wheels,wide tires and white lettered writing…even a set of old style Mopar Magnum 500′s with white lettered tires…now you have me thinking…it may look good..You never know,I was just thinking before because the side body panels are huge these days and thought it needed bigger wheels,but I love the old Challenger’s with Rallye wheels or Magnums..so you may be on to something,really want to see it done now…

Ok, I’ll compromise. How about leavng the huge rims and adding bigger/taller tires then? You know, so they look like they belong on a muscle car, not a rice burner/tuner car.

All this nitpicking about wheels,stripes is fine I guess,but I sure hope Chrysler does not have a disaster like Toyota !! Then we would have no stripes or wheels to complain about on the Challenger !! I sure hope Chrysler quality control is on its top game right now,triple checking everything,we dont need a devastating desaster like Toyota has..

Yes,its the color that is new for the stripes…you could get those on the 2009 R/T but not the color..its reminiscent of a 1971 Plymouth GTX they had those stripes…

I think you are wrong smaller wheels on the Challenger will look horrible..It is not designed the same as the 70-74 ,on those 14 or 15 inch wheels look right.The new Challenger sits higher (roof is inches higher than the old ones),taller side bodylines and anything smaller than 18 inch wheels looks horrible..Its like having a 1970 Challenger with 12 inch wheels it doesnt look good.The 17′s on those cars looks like a 1970 Challenger with 13 inch rims..hideous….

I’ve seen those stripes on a 2009 R/T Challenger at my dealership late Dec ’08.
They are not new. Maybe they mean the red color. The ones I’ve seen were flat black, on
a orange car.

Amendment to my earlier post: I meant to write “Mustangs and Camaros” but for some reason wrote “Mustangs and Fords.” Whoops.

In any case, Mustangs and Camaros are being officially imported into Japan, while Dodge does not bring over the Challenger. Pity, that.

And just to reiterate, haven’t these hood-to-fender stripes always been available as an option on R/Ts? Just different colors? Seems this whole RLD entry is touting these stripes as something completely new…or am I just reading it wrong?
