RLD Gears Up For the 5th Annual Spring Festival of LXs |
Posted on March 15, 2010
After a long winter of rain and snow, Mother Nature has been helpful lately with sunshine and green grass returning to many parts of the US and Canada. This change in weather is just in time for the 5th Annual Spring Festival of LXs almost 700 LX-platform vehicles descend upon southern California for an unforgettable weekend of sights and sounds. Touted as the largest gathering of LX/LC owners anywhere, the Spring Festival is four days of LX excitement as some of the most highly-modified and cleanest 300s, Magnums, Challengers and Chargers are displayed under the California sun. In addition to all the gleaming metal, SF5 will also present a rare opportunity for forum members who regularly exchange quips and tips on the web to meet each other face-to-face. “It’s all about bringing the virtual world to reality,” explained Spring Fest organizer John Fortuno, “This [SF5] is where you see it all.”
As with previous Spring Festival of LXs events, a number of limited edition and motorsports vehicles will be making an appearance along with official representatives from both the Chrysler and Dodge brands. The Red Letter Dodge team will also be in attendance with live coverage of the event on Facebook, Twitter and of course, right here on Red Letter Dodge.
For more information on the event, please visit SoCalLX.com or the dedicated Spring Festival discussion at LX Forums.

The article mentioned Canada! Yay!

Sorry Flames T can’t find fuzzy dice. I ordered new challenger 8 weeks ago and the dealer can’t tell me where it is. Maybe RLD can find it for me.

mark s. I ordered my plum crazy R/T on october 11 and it just arrived this past saturday- march 15….although it seemed like an eternity, I can assure you it WAS well worth the wait !

Work and the fact I haven’t bought a Challenger yet will keep me from going. I don’t think showing up in a foreign luxury car is the thing to do anyway.
Looks like a great event. Hopefully I’ll get my Challenger for next year. Order window for FFSRT8 please, or news on green as an option. Sorry, gotta keep trying RLD!

With all the silence from RLD, it looks like they have no idea what they are going to offer next year or if there will be a next year. Please let us know if Dodge plans to offer the Challenger in sublime next year, if not I will go ahead and purchase a plum crazy one with the free $2,000 worth of Mopar accessories and the 1.9% financing rate. Thanks!

Hey guys,
Sorry for the delay in response…
Sublime: As much as I would love to tell you, we have not released any new information on future colors and options other than what you have seen here. I can say that your voices have been heard, but have no information on whether or not that color will become an option.
IndyRider: We should have some news on FF ordering soon.

Thanks, RLD. I know your hands are tied by some indecisive bureaucrat, but we all have the same issues at work. We were hoping Sergio would change things for the best, however, it looks like things are the same. I guess the only thing the Fiat boys are doing is making you use their architecture for everything so more money can go back to Italy. It looks like Daimler all over again.

RLD, thank you for the response, hopefully I get a shot at ordering a FF SRT8. I wish you could make enough for everyone, as I’m going nuts without an actual order in the works for assembly.
Green is still my #1 choice, as you can see on my facebook page (search for allworldkitty and check out the photo album).
I’ll settle for the FF SRT8, let’s get the deal going!
