Sep 28, 2010 @ 14:56:05
Why, King Richard, of course. He knows how to drive the car to win and be tough as nails, while at the same time being the consumate Southern Gentleman. He will always, always have my heart!
Sep 28, 2010 @ 14:57:09
The greatest driver of all time is King Petty. (everybody in the world knows who he is)

Richie Evans #61 13 Modified Titles & 7 in a row. BEST EVER !!!!
Sep 28, 2010 @ 15:29:52
I vote simply as my favorite driver and best of all time will always be Dale Earnhardt Sr in the BLACK #3. Not many drivers had the intimidation aspect like Sr and they sure didn’t know how to go from 43rd starting position to number 1 finishing. Sr is either liked or hated and those are the drivers I like. Petty is a close second in my books since he simply was known as the King.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 15:30:05
Richard Petty of course, with Jeff G a close second
Sep 28, 2010 @ 15:33:44
Mark Martin

Richard Petty #43
Sep 28, 2010 @ 16:47:50
Richard Petty & Ryan Newman
Sep 28, 2010 @ 17:04:26
The greatest driver of all time would be fireball roberts. Not a lot of folks remember him, but he raced when racing was who wanted it the most and didn’t have all the rules that limit drivers showing their skills by executing instead ofwho get out in front and stays there to win.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 17:06:57
Darrell Alderman -Mopar Pro stock retired . Currently would be Allen Johnson -Nhra Mopar Pro-stock .
Sep 28, 2010 @ 17:37:29
Richard Petty or as you may know THE KING is the greatest driver of all time.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 17:43:22
Does Ricky Bobby count??? LOL! If not I’ll go with Dale Earnhardt Sr. He was tough as nails! Current favorite is Carl Edwards! Gotta root for the local boy!

The King himself Richard Petty
Sep 28, 2010 @ 18:21:52

Sep 28, 2010 @ 18:57:57
Dale earnhardt sr. The man in black.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 19:05:11
It has to be Richard Petty ( The King ) but you can never count out the intimidator Dale Sr.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 19:43:31
Richard Petty and my favorite driver now, Carl Edwards.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 20:09:23
David Pearson In Cotton Owens #6 Dodge
Sep 28, 2010 @ 20:20:52
He is a champion in Heaven but if he were here everyone would be chasing Davey Allison in the record books.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 20:43:03
Mark Donahue. He excelled at every type of racing he competed in. Died much too young 35 years ago.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 22:51:51
Richard Petty of course. I still root for his car (#43) even though he doesn’t drive it anymore. I was pretty excited last week!
I had a Richard Petty vs Cale Yarborough Tyco race car set given to me when I was 9 or 10 (1979 or 1980), had alot fun with it. Sure wish I still had it.
Sep 28, 2010 @ 23:04:20
The late Bobby Isaacs is my favorite driver. He drove the famous no. 71 K & K Dodges.
Sep 29, 2010 @ 02:21:19
Dale Earnhardt Sr will always be the greatest driver of all time. The ease with which he drove a race car, his connection with the fans and what he did for NASCAR as a whole will not be matched
Sep 29, 2010 @ 07:29:07
The king – Richard Petty

This is a no-brainer! They don’t call him “The King” for nothing! Richard Petty has 200 career Cup level wins. Nobody else comes close. David Pearson, with 105 wins is his closest rival in the category.
