Are you done unwrapping presents and exchanging gifts? Looking to escape for a few hours and head out to your local multiplex cinema and take in one of the new Hollywood releases? The movie execs have ramped up their offering of fresh releases just in time to hit the big screen between Christmas and New Years’ so what are you waiting for?
Depending on your taste in films, when it comes to the cinematic action flicks, you’ll agree Dodge has played a starring role in some of the most dramatic and action-packed car chases during the last four decades. Both movie critics and car enthusiasts can all name the film where a sinister-looking black 1968 Charger R/T tears up the streets of San Francisco and even casual film buffs know what cult classic featured a certain white Challenger R/T blasting across the desolate west.
So to pay homage to those great movies whose star was a big-block or HEMI® V8 powered Dodge, we took a few creative liberties and created this “Dodge of Destiny” movie poster. It may be modern fiction and not coming to a local theatre soon, but it’ll sure look cool plastered on the wall of your garage.

A major omission is the 69 Charger from “Dirty Mary Crazy Larry” And of course, the General Lee from “Dukes of Hazzard” Both movies, and their cars, are far better known than from “Death Proof”

Youwere doing OK ’til you got the that last one.
For the record, the only cool dodges in that movie were the ’70 charger (the actual star) and the new challenger at the end (though I’m not a fan of trying to make a new challenger look like an old charger (ie widebody…..)

I think if you look closer, Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry was a 1970. front wrap around bumper gives it away…

In keeping with the times, the 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T, Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) drives in “Green Lantern” is awesome. It even sounds like a challenger in the movie also. Mopar is here to stay!

D.M.C.L had a brief scene of a 1969 CHARGER with a 1968 front clip on it!
No 1970 models were used.

I agree with Chris. Missing the ’71 ‘Cuda from “Phantasm.” Glad to see “Death Proof” is on there though.
